A scream of terror escaped my lips as I was jolted away from my conversation with my husband and almost hit the steering wheel with my forehead. "Why are you screaming?" My husband yelled in the phone.
"I just got hit! Aye Dios Mio!" as I flung the phone to the passenger seat and smashed the speaker button and got out the car.
The man in the Nissan was very calm as I asked him for his information possibly because state patrol was in the car behind him. We pulled over to the side of the road and waited forever it seems for the police report. The ambulance blaring and the cops asked me five times if I was injured and if I was sure I wasn't injured.
I got out the car, "no I'm not injured." Shaken, stirred, and scared to death, YES but injured no. Now, 3 hours later, I am thinking I may have taken that ambulance to Grady, my neck is killing me but I just had to get to UOPX for this final faculty certification before the test. Today has been eventful nonetheless, and it is not over yet...
